Our online teaching and course development programs are some of the best in the country. Both the HSU Department of Online Education and HSU 教师 have received National awards for research, 创新, and best practices in online teaching and course development. The Department of Online Education supports 教师 members by providing training in course design and pedagogy.

All professors must complete our Online Teacher Certification in order to teach online at HSU. We are committed to ensuring that our online students receive the same high-quality education that our campus students receive.
NC-SARA
Hardin-Simmons University has been approved by the State of Texas to participate in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements. NC-SARA is a voluntary, regional approach to state oversight of post-secondary distance education. HSU is also a participating member of the Southern Regional Education Board’s Electronic Campus.
